Bio
Helena Hockertz is a writer/director/editor born and raised in Taiwan. She moved to Canada for high school, where she discovered her love for cinema, and is now graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Film & Television and a minor in Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. Her films explore themes of identity, perception, and transformation through a mix of grounded narrative and surreal visuals.
